B'nai Yisrael is a Torah-observant community
of Yahweh
located near Winston-Salem, NC.
As individuals, we come from diverse backgrounds; therefore,
we have various thoughts on the interpretation of scripture.
Even with our diversity, we are a tightly bound group of families
who gather on shabbat and other festivals of Yahweh
to study and talk about him, and to break bread and strengthen
one another. Since we come from different backgrounds, we each
have our own stories of how Yahweh brought us to him.
Each path we have taken has given us slightly different understandings
of exactly who he is and how we are to perform the things he
has given us. We allow the various understandings of family
members, as we acknowledge that each person answers to their
creator individually. We are committed to the family
Yahweh, and accept all of his children, no matter his/her
level.
