Look at what they are doing

First of all
I want to say Thank you to all those who served in our Military. For if it wasn't for your courage to fight for what you believe in, we would not be here.

There was a Commander of a VFW Post at a Service I was attending with the Jews. I had completely forgotten it was Memorial Day weekend. He gave a report of what this Post is doing. They periodically, visit at the Veterans Hospital and pass out lil cups of ice cream to those recovering. They go to the (I am sorry, I am having a senior moment) the place where the elderly spend the rest of their lives. A Nursing Home! They rustle up those that can still move and take them along to help with the distribution.
They were planning a poppy sale to raise funds for scholarships. They have enough for $500 and are shooting for as many as they can gather.

We also have a hospital for those who have limbs removed and are trying to get back into society.

This VFW Post is very active for being a bunch of old men. If we could only touch a life with a lil cup of ice cream, the Love of HaShem goes forth. We could only touch a life by getting one out of the environment he is in, the Love of HaShem goes forth. If we could only touch a life with a poppy, we can change a life of a young person to make a difference in our world, the Love of HaShem goes forth.

Just sharing my thoughts and two shekels worth.
Strive to pour out the Love of HaShem in all you do.
