It held just enough ink for a few letters. The kind of pen that the founding fathers who signed on the Declaration of Independence kind of pen, just without a feather.

HaShem gives us trials to make us stronger folk. I know at the time, we question, just where is HaShem through all this but He is right there. Nudging us along. Sometimes we have to trip and fall just so He can pick us up. We dust ourselves off and go forward. These are kodack moments. Markers in our lives that when look back, HaShem was right there all along, we just were sooo with our blinders that we didn't get to look out the window and see all that He had blessed us with for our enjoyment, comfort and ease.

Thus the blessing of Sukkot. To admire ALL that He has given us. That what is above and that what we walk along. The Blessing is there. We just have to recognize it and receive it.

Dear Anna
Now thats a very nice technique for drawing. We call those dip-pens.
I used to do some pen & ink drawing myself, but not for lettering.
I think you must go back a little before my time, we tended to use Rotring pens for any graphic work.

Not being Jewish, although my wifes family bear a Jewish name I believe, 'Tovar', I do not profess to understand some of the language used here, though I am learning. HaShem, is to avoid using the 'name' of the creator I believe, this is something you consider wrong to do? I wish to be careful not to offend.

I agree the plan is all HIS plan, we just follow His plan for us, or not, as we decide. I am sure we can take little credit for making right decisions in our lives, and blessings apparently present themselves 'fortuitously', also trials are offered the same way, & received with thanks.

I have learnt to be content with whatever situation I have, and I watch His marvelous plan unfolding before me.

love & blessings

It has been a year since I got on the roller coaster. Still have not quite stabilized on the sugars but am getting there. The docs are quick to offer a pill for this and a pill for that. sigh

I have learned how to make delicious, tempting desserts and meals that one wouldn't know its healthy for you. I love to see the look on someone's face when they find out there is no sugar or grease in the treat.

Last night was my first catering gig on desserts. I filled up a table with 100% sugar free desserts. yep yep

As I was leaving, the hostess introduced me to someone there who is diabetic. When I informed him that every thing, I mean everything that I brought (the hostess ordered a carrot cake from a bakery) was edible for a diabetic. He was shocked. He was so sad most of the event that he could not eat anything there and to see his face light up. priceless. So I was informing him of my walk this past year and he was writing what I was saying.

As I had one foot out the door, his wife came up to me. That they have been in bondage with this illness and with the information I gave him this evening, it looks like there's hope. Baruch HaShem

Then others present learned they could eat, and there was a mad rush to the table.

I have been to many an event, where I cannot participate in the sweets so I have learned to ask if I could bring something. This way I can also enjoy the desserts with everyone else.

As I was on my feet all day, they were like watermelons and I could not really dance like I wanted to. But it was like, I needed to do all this, just to inform this one man. Baruch HaShem.

hey Sister,

Now we know why the roller coaster was placed in your life.

If you had not lived it, that poor man would still be in bondage. You have shown him how to live with the disease and enjoy life.

I say thank Yahweh that He was able to use you in such a wonderful way. I know how the bondage can feel with no hope there.

Take care sister and keep allowing yourself to be used in such wonderful ways.

Shalom

It has been over a year since my home caught fire that night in February. A day that changed my life. With all that I went thru, insurance company adjuster, contractors, cleaning company, it was very difficult to show the world that I am a Believer. I was constantily reminded that G-d was in control and I just had to let Him do so. With the last check signed last week, I can now say I can go forward.
Recently I saw a video about Rain. A man is about to take a nice lil hike into the woods with his not quite year old son on his back. Beautiful day it twas and then the clouds started to roll in. Its a bit nippy so they are wearing light jackets with hoods. He covers the baby's head but doesn't realize it fell down. The father is trying to get back to his vehicle as fast as he can, and the child is starting to cry. Thunder, lightning, pouring rain. And the child is screeming. The father is trying his best to get him back. So he takes him off his back and holds him tightly on his chest. Cooing the child telling him that he will be okay. That he was there. Rain still pounding around him and the childs seems to calm down.
As they get to the edge of the forest, the rain stops.
The rains will come. There will be scary thunder and lightning but Our Fahter is there holding us tightly to His chest and telling us that it will be okay.
I had many rains this past year. It was very hard for me to let My Father hold me tight to His chest.
Throughout the whole storm, I kept hearing

Be STILL and know that I am G-d Psalms 46:10

Once I did so, the problems started to peel away.

The rains will come. I hear the thunder in the distance. This coming Monday, I will go in for catarac surgery. Left eye first then the udder. There is a chance that I could go blind. There is a chance. So early Monday, can you lift me up in your prayers.

Blessings Mishpocha
Shalom
Anna

Anna,

I will be petitioning for you. Again, I love the pictures Yahweh allows you to see, and you are kind enough to share.
